Nashville Shooting: 3 children and 3 adults killed in shooting at Christian school

Three children and three grown-ups were murdered in a shooting at a private devout school in Nashville, specialists said.

The shooter, who police said was a white 28-year-old from the Nashville range, was shot dead by two officers. Police at first recognized the shooter as a lady but a representative afterward told WPLN’s Alexis Marshall that the shooter was doled out female at birth and utilized he/him pronouns.

Chairman John Cooper said Nashville was joining the “feared, long list” of cities and towns that have endured school shootings.

“My heart goes out to the families of the casualties,” Cooper said. “Our whole city stands with you.”
